Provide all facilities, labor, supervision, management, management support, supplies, equipment and materials required to provide laundry services for consolidated laundry requirements of the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers located in Battle Creek, Allen Park, Ann Arbor, and Saginaw, Michigan. Solicitation is issued in compliance with A-76, Performance of Commercial Activities (Contractor Owned/Contractor Operated). Award will depend on outcome of Government cost comparison. Requirements include, but are not limited to, pickup and delivery to four separate medical centers daily Monday through Friday, responsibility for complete laundry operation including maintaining processing records which will include soiled weights picked up and clean weights delivered, maintaining building space as required by JCAHO and OSHA standards, maintaining a distinct impervious/vapor barrier wall from floor to ceiling to impervious/vapor barrier wall from floor to ceiling to separate soiled linen area from clean area, all trucks required to transport soiled and clean linen, furnish all linen carts for the pickup and delivery of all textiles, provide approved wash formula chemicals, materials, equipment and tools to accomplish services, reports and data as required in work statement, employee uniforms, identification devices, orientation and training, medical exams, procedures manual, quality control program and required data.
