S -- SECURITY GUARD SERVICES SOL W600204-A2 DUE 022696 POC Contact Point, Robert Singman, (202)260-5759 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for skilled security receptionists and other qualified security personnel which are collectively classified as guards, for the EPA Headquarters Building located at Waterside Mall, 401 M Street, SW, Washington, D.C. and the Fairchild Building, at 499 South Capitol Street, SW, Washington, D.C. Security personnel are responsible for providing a daily deterrent against unauthorized, illegal, or other activities directed toward EPA employees, visitors, information, programs, property, etc. A Fixed Price contract for five (5) years is planned with a 6-month base period, four twelve (12) month option periods and one six (6) month option period. There will be an estimated 72,500 hours for each six months period and 145,000 hours for each of the 12 month periods. Copies of the Request for Proposals (RFP) should be available to prospective offerors, on or about February 9, 1996, with proposals due 15 days after issuance of the solicitation. A bid bond and performance bond will be required from the offerors. This procurement has been classified as a Small Business Set-Aside, SIC Code 7381.
