Z -- SUMPLIFIED ACQUISITION OF BASE ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS SOL F41691-96-R-0005 DUE 032196 POC Mr Philip Kirby tel: 210/652-5183 Subject project is for a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work on real property at Randolph AFB TX, and its associated sites in Seguin, Canyon Lake and Base Civil Engineer (BCE) at Randolph AFB TX. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract and will list a wide variety of individual construction tasks as listed in the Unit Price Book (UBC). During the contract period BCE will identify construction tasks required to complete each specific job and Base Contracting Office will negotiate and issue individual delivery orders to the contractor to complete those jobs. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment and personnel necessary to design, manage and accomplish the job. The contractor will be required to maintain management offices on randolph AFB in order to receive work requests and provide other management services related to accomplishing individual jobs. Individual jobs will vary in size and complexity. The jobs will include tasks in a variety of trades, such as carpentry, road repair, roofing excavation; Interior electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete, masonry and welding. The guaranteed contract minimum is $500,000. and the proposed maximum is $39,000,000. The average value of SABER delivery orders under the current SABER contract at Randolph AFB was $64,000. The performance period will be a twelve month basic year with 4 twelve-month option years to be executed at the Government's option. Acceptable bonding will be required for the contract minimum amount, as well as for all delivery orders exceeding $25,000. The contractor should be able to sustain bonds totaling $7,000,000. at any given time. This project is unrestricted. Replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns.
