The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, ViaSat, 2290 Cosmos Court, Carlsbad, CA 92009-1585, 1-619-438-8489. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, ViaSat is the only known source that can meet the government's minimum essential requirements for four Miniature Data Acquisition and Transceiver (Mini-Dat). The Mini-Dat has 8 single ended or 4 differential analog input channels, 8 discrete channels, programmable gains and sample rates, 12 bit sampling and spread spectrum S-band waveform. Output power is 20 dBm typically, 18 dBm min. User friendly interfaces, remote turn on/off. Built entirely from commercially available off-the-shelf PCM CIA Data Acquisition Card, PCM CIA Processor Card, and a ViaSat Wireless Lan PC Card. The Mini-Dat also features a Command/Receive Station and software which is PC based for receive, demodulate, and decommutate capabilities. Technical contact is Lt Rabi N.
