ahubbard@lerc.nasa.gov. NASA Lewis Research Center is planning to issue
a procurement that will purchase two high energy, pulsed Nd:YAG laser
systems. These systems will include, two Q-switched high energy, 10 Hz
Nd:YAG pump lasers with 2 Joule output at 1032 nm. Temperature
stabilized second harmonic generates will provide doubled output at 532
nm with 1 Joule. Two high energy nanosecond dye lasers with
computerized control, and two systems for frequency doubling, mixing,
and mixing after doubling with closed loop Crystal tracking shall also
be provided. Doubling and mixing crystals for each system shall also
be provided. Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio 44135. Delivery schedule is 90
calendar days after contract award. The date for receipt of offers is
approximate. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA
MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal
procurement Policy on April 16, 1993. Destination is NASA LeRC.
Suppliers of identical or equivalent items may submit data to
demonstrate their ability to satisfy this requirement. Such data must
include, as a minimum, a complete listing of items, complete specs to
identify item/system capabilities in sufficient detail to permit a
technical evaluation, pricing data (including all applicable
discounts), GSA non-mandatory schedule contract number (if applicable)
a point of contact (name and telephone number), business size, prompt
payment terms, freight charges if FOB origin, and number of days
required for delivery and installation, if applicable. All responsible
sources may submit written responses within 15 days from the date of
this notice to the address identified above. All responses received
will be considered. No contract award will be made on the basis of any
response to this notice. Solicitation documents are not available.
