The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue orders, in accordance with an ordering provision in existing contract N00024-95-C-2107, to Electric Boat Corporation, 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340, for R&D materials, prototype hardware, and/or minor R&D studies related to: non-CFC air conditioning and refrigeration plants; composite shaft; shock isolation test and evaluation; and other related studies. These requirements are in support of submarine improvement and advanced submarine technology studies being performed by Electric Boat Corporation for the Advanced Submarine Project Office.
