Concerns having the ability to provide a Community Corrections Center facility and services for male and female Federal offenders. Services required to include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of facility shall be in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Estimated number of mandays is 30,660 (23,360 males/7,300 females) for the base period. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a February 19, 1996. Estimated closing date is o/a April 19, 1996. Contract base period is two years, with three one-year options. Estimated number of mandays is 15,695 (12,045 males/3,650 females) for option year one; 16,060 (12,410 males/3,650 females) for option year two; and 16,425 (12,410 males/4,015 females) for option year three to renew.
