Allen, Contracting Officer, (703) 875-6020 The Department of State has a requirement for repair and maintenance of a total of forty-nine elevators, two escalators, and pneumatic tube system equipment located at 4 locations in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Forty-three elevators and two escalators are at the Main State Building; three elevators at the Blair House; two elevators at the Beltsville Information Management Center; and one elevator at the International Center. The pneumatic tube system equipment is located at the Main State Building. A combination of a fixed price, and time and materials, services contract is anticipated. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The preponderance of the services required are for the elevators. The SIC (Standard Industrial Classification Code) is 1796 (installation or erection of building equipment) which is average annual receipts of the last three years not exceeding seven million dollars.
