The DRAFT RFP was uploaded to the SPAWARSYSCOM Bulletin Board System (BBS) on 22 December 1995. The Draft RFP file name is LSFRFP.ZIP. The DRAFT RFP is in Word 6.0, WordPerfect 6.0, WP Graphics 2.0, Excel 5.0, Foxpro format. The formal RFP for this requirement will be on the BBS approximately 26 January 1996. The RFP will be transmitted through the SPAWAR Bulletin Board System (BBS). The RFP will only be available by calling the SPAWAR BBS, (703)602-9494, and downloading the RFP. The Bulletin Board operates at 14,400 BAUD with a setting of 8:N:1. The file will be compressed by a shareware program, PKZ204G.EXE. The RFP file name will be 96R0054.ZIP. To download this RFP, the prospective offeror will need at a minimum, PC or MAC with modem emulation software that supports VT100 or ANSI standing, a modem that operates between 300 bps - 14.4K bps and a minimum of 1.5 MEG free disk space. Prospective offerors are required to supply the name and address of their company, the Point of Contact's name and phone number on the on- line questionnaire in order to be placed on the RFP's Bidders List. All others are also requested to optionally provide answers to a questionnaire on electronic contracting. Telephone inquiries for the RFP will not be honored. Offerors who would like a copy of the RFP must access the bulletin board. The bulletin board will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
