Service non-personal to provide chemical treatment, Maleic Acid Polymers, for Cooling Towers and Evaporate Cooling Units (BCU's) located at Edwards AFB CA. Period of performance is from 1 March 06 through 30 September 96 on an on-call basis. Contractor to maintain cooling towers and BCU's with proper dosage of chemicals to maintain proper operating conditions. Chemicals to be used in BCU's and cooling towers wil be dispersed into liquid vault storage containers for treatment. Contractor to provide inventory of all chemical products being despersed and written inventory report Contractor to perform chemical analysis of cooling equipment and make necessary recommendations and adjustments to the chemicals inducing equipment. Contractor will be responsible for storing chemical products and delivery of proper amounts to designated sites. Contractor will be licensed for transportation and must comply with all Department of Transportation laws and guidelines. Contractor will be subject to search of vehicle by Air Force Security personel and subject to escort. Contractor will be responsible for all chemical spills while dispensing or transfer of chemicals Contractor must respond within 48 hours at designated site. Delivery hours Monday though Friday 0700 to 1600 hours. The procedures to be used in awarding this contract is written quotation and the anticipated award date is 6 February 96.
