RUSSIAL, (215)697-9678 Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure tug services for the USS Constitution in support of the Naval Historical Center Detachment Boston. The tug services include repositioning and turnaround services; one pilot and one tug are required for repositioning and one pilot and two tugs are required for all turnarounds. Emergency tug services shall likewise be provided in the event of fire in the immediate area, high winds to blizzards or hurricanes or to reposition the USS Constitution under any unscheduled requirement. Emergency services to be provided will be available on a 24 hour basis. The resultant contract will provide for a base period of performance of five (5) months, along with two one-year option provisions. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract will result from the solicitation with an estimated procurement quantity of ten (10) to fifteen (15) turnarounds and repositionings and five (5) to ten (10) hours of emergency moving services to be performed, inclusive of all options. All responsible sources may request the solicitation and submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia. The Government will not pay for information received.
