(513) 255-2475. TARS will be a podded system designed for
under-the-weather, medium to high threat, daytime imagery collection.
TARS will consist of 20 new podded systems with embedded
Electro-Optical (EO) sensor suites, five transportable Squadron Ground
Stations (SGS), logistics support, and spares. Successful offeror will
develop and integrate the TARS on Air National Guard F-16 C Block 30
aircraft. Initial operational deployment will be required within one
year of contract award and will consist of four TARS podded systems,
one SGS, and spares. The TARS consists of Initial Configuration
Criteria (ICC) and Final Configuration Criteria (FCC) capabilities. The
ICC system is to provide a single forward looking EO framing sensor,
sensor control, second sensor window, data recording, and internal pod
environmental control. The pod will interface with the F-16 cockpit
Electronic Warfare Management System. The ICC system will also provide
space, power, and environmental control required to implement the FCC
capabilities consisting of a second vertical/oblique EO sensor and a
P3I Common Data Link. FCC capability will be based on the integration
of a GFE-provided Navy/Marine production Medium Altitude
Electro-Optical (MAEO) sensor. A contractor developed system
specification will be required for submittal with any proposal and
finalized as part of any resultant contract. Cost and schedule
considerations for this program are of utmost importance. Destination:

number of sources who may be capable of providing this requirement. All
potential sources must possess a demonstrated capability to fulfill the
requirement in order to be considered. At this time the Air Force does
not possess adequate funding to guarantee the release of a
solicitation. The government possesses no re-acquisition data for this

a small business, a firm must not employ over 750 people. Teaming is
