This requirement is for Very High Frequency (VHF) Maritime Transciever Systems. It is anticipated that a Requirements contract will be issued with the follow Brand Name or Equal items to be ordered. The Brand Name identified is Japan Radio Company. It is anticipated that the following items and quantities will be contained in the schedule: 100 Each, VHF Transceiver, Model JHS-31 or equal; 100 Each, Power Supply Unit, Model NQD-1469 or equal; 100 Each, DSC Receiver, Model NRE-63 or equal; 100 Each, DSC Printer, Model NKG-52 or equal; 200 Each, Guard Receiver, Model NRE-76 or equal; 200 Each, Remote Control Unit, Model NCH-329 or equal; 200 Each, Handset Connection Box, Model NQE-846 or equal; 5 Each, Handset Replacement, Model HS-6000J5 or equal; 220 Each, Remote Speaker, Model NVS-423 or equal; 15 Each, Antenna, Model AE-183A or equal. In addition, spare parts kits and data requirements will also be required. A typical system may consist of 1 each transceiver, 1 each power supply, 1 each DSC receiver, 1 each DSC printer, 2 each guard receivers, 2 each remote control units, 2 hand set connection boxes, and 2 each remote speakers. However, variations in quantities may occur due to the ship or class of ships being equipped. Delivery will be required within 90 days after date of order shipped FOB Destination to Receiving Officer, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Villa Road, Bldg., 115, St. Inigoes, MD 20684-0010. Offerors will be specifically required to address their ability to meet the 90 day delivery requirement. The contract will be for five (5) years in duration beginning from time of contract award. The Request for Proposal will contain complete specifications for the components and shall require Commerical Off The Shelf equipment. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
