59 -- ELECTRONIC FLIGHT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR EA-6B POC Contact, Wilma Washington, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to buy approximately 65 Electronic Flight Information Systems (EFIS 50 Systems) and interim spares from Allied Signal Avionics Inc., King Radio Corporation, Olathe, Kansas. The EFIS 50 Systems and interim spares are commerical items available through the Allied Signal Avionics catalog. The Navy has integrated the Allied Signal Avionics EFIS into the EA-6B where it has been ground tested, flight tested, tested for carrier suitability and found to have the necessary tactical modes of operation required for integration into the EA-6B Aircraft. Allied Signal Avionics can deliver EFIS 50 Systems in the timeframe required to support the EA-6B program.
