Firms who can furnish the requirement should respond in writing and provide substantive documentation to establish bonafide capability to fulfill the stated requirement, including brand(s), part numbers, prices, and catalog and/or descriptive literature containing sufficient technical information to evaluate the product. Only affirmative written responses containing this data will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be received by this office within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. Requests for the solicitation will not be considered as an affirmative response. Telephone responses will not be accepted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
