70 -- MH-53E NAVIGATION/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM POC Contact, PAMELA JACKSON, Phone (703)604-1920 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a contract to Canadian Marconi Company (CAC), 415 Leggett Drive, Box 13330. Kanata, Ontario, Canada K2K 2B2 to manufacture cockpit control system components necessary to support the MH-53E Naviagation/Communication System (NCS) installation. The NCS flight qualified software has been specifically developed to run on CMC hardware components in which proprietary software boot cable and system libraries exist. Additionally, level III drawings of hardware componentss have not been procured from CMC. The contract will be structured to procure an initial quantity of 4 Kits, with priced options for the procuremnt of an additional 21 kits and spares.
