seeking vendors who are interested in supplying ranging sensors for
testing our longitudinal vehicle control system. The objective of the
longitudinal vehicle controller is to control the relative spacing of
a motor vehicle with respect to the vehicle immediately ahead of its
regulating the throttle and/or brakes. The ranging sensor will
interface with the longitudinal controller. The estimates of range and
range rate obtained by the adjusting the speed of the trailing
vehicle. Request for Proposal Sensors/BC will be sent to interested
parties with a response date of February 26, 1996. If your company
