This modification replaces the requirements of the original synopsis. Open End (Indefinite Delivery) contract for architectural/engineering services (type A, B, and at the Government option, Type C Services) for design projects at Camp Roberts, Monterey County, California, as may be ordered for a period of one year after contract award (with an option to extend. The A/E will receive a minimum of $5,000.00 design fees, no individual delivery order shall be less than $5,000.00 or more than $150,000.00 and total fees paid under the resultant contract shall not exceed $750,000.00 annually. Work will include preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates and back up on Disk (AUTOCAD) for each project. Projects may include new sewer lines with lift station, water main lines, general building maintenance repair or renovation (all trades), HVAC conversions, the rehabilitation of the following systems: Gas Distribution (Natural and Propane), Electrical Circuitry and Support Systems, Roadway, Cold Storage (Evaporators and Insulation), Security, and Fire alarm System and Pool repairs. Evaluation and selection of the firm will be based on the following criteria: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; 3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; 5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; provide that application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project; 6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design and 7) Total dollar amount of DoD fees awarded in the past 12 months. 8) Small and small disadvantaged businesses. Type of contract is indefinite delivery. This is an unrestricted announcement. The estimated start and completion dates of the projects are unknown at this time. Firms will indicate on their SF255's the total number of DoD awards within the past 12 months prior to the date of the announcement. Personal visits are discouraged.
