This is a modification to the sources sought synopsis published in issue number PSA-1403 dated Friday, August 4, 1995, page 4. Note that this sourses sought synopsis was referenced in full in the RFP synopsis published in issue number PSA-1469 dated Wednesday, November 8, 1995, page 3. The following corrections, all in column 2, are made: 1. Under item 1 of the sources sought synopsis, Security Clearances, instead of requiring all personnel possess a Top Secret clearance, only core contractor personnel required to perform software maintenance beginning 1 Oct 96 shall possess a Top Secret clearance (based on a special background investigation). The rest of the contractor's team must obtain Top Secret clearances before they begin unescorted work on the contract. Award of contract several months prior to the beginning of contract performance is no longer anticipated. An interim Top Secret clearance is not acceptable at the start of contract performance. 2. Under item 2.b of the sources sought synopsis, facilities shall be cleared for processing and storage of Secret (changed from Top Secret) classified programs and/or data. 3. Under item 4.b of the sources sought synopsis, access and total proficiency in creating, modifying, and testing IBM 370 assembler software code is not required. 4. Under item 5.b of the sources sought synopsis, the government will not be able to make an early award. (0025)
