SPAIN: USED SELF-PROPELLED MOBILE CRANES The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 95.362. 1. Member to Agreement notifying: SPAIN. Products covered (HS or CCCN where applicable): Used self-propelled mobile cranes. 5. Title and number of pages of the notified document: Proposed Royal Decree Approving Complementary Technical Instruction MIE-AEM 4 of the Regulations on Lifting Equipment and Maintenance in Respect of Used Self-Propelled Mobile Cranes. 6. Description of content: Establishes minimum technical specifications for all used self-propelled mobile cranes and allows a period for the adaptation of those that do not meet the specifications. 7. Objective and rationale: To fill the gap in existing legislation in relation to self-propelled mobile cranes used for the first time before January 1993, for safety reasons. 8. Relevant documents: Royal Decree 2291/1985 Approving the Regulations on Lifting Equipment and Maintenance and Royal Decree 1435/1992 of 27 November. 9.
