Glenn (215) 931-5486. Scope of Work: This project includes the construction of a supplemental air conditioning system at the Northwest Mail Processing Center in Waltham, MA. The scope of work shall include furnishing and installing one (1) 20,000 cfm roof top air cooling unit and one (1) 212 ton rotary screw chiller unit complete with all associated piping, ductwork, controls and electrical work including demolition and/or relocation of existing piping and ductwork systems. This project shall also include a new structural steel support framing system with steel grillage for support of the new roof top air cooling unit including all associated demolition, roofing, painting and temporary protection work. Offeror must have a minimum of five (5) years mechanical experience and must have satisfactorily completed at least three (3) projects of similar size and scope. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled at the Northwest Mail Processing Center, 200 Smith Street, Waltham, MA 02154-9998 on February 13, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. The estimated price range is between $300,000 and $400,000 with completion required within 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
