Summary of work: to replace the current roof at the Byron G. Rogers, Federal Building/Courthouse, Denver, Colorado. The project consist's of two (2) phases. The base bid is to replace the roof for the office building, with a 32 c/day performance period. The option bid is to replace the roof for the court house and connecting portion. The base bid contains 2,176 square meters of roof replacement, 117 square meters of cooling tower roof deck to be sealed and 996 square meters of penthouse walls to clean and seal. The window wash rail around the office building main roof will remain in place. The option contains 3,719 meters of roof replacement and 913 square meters of penthouse walls to clean and seal. There is abandoned mechanical equipment on both roofs which will be removed and the deck underneath patched and sealed. The entire parapet wall will have to be raised. Solicitation's will be issued o/a 03/12/96; BOD o/a 04/25/96. Estimate construction range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All requests for this solicitation shall be in writing.
