The requirement includes the following areas: Project Management, Systems Engineering, Instrument subsystems definition and development, Instrument assembly, Integration and test, and Mission Integration and Launch Site Support. The period of performance of this contract will not exceed 5 years. The mission is under the guidelines and requirements of the NASA Medium-class Explorer missions (MIDEX) and the Naval Research Laboratory will manage and provide oversight and science support to the project.
