This effort is part of the U.S. Government's Cooperative Threat Reduction Program to provide assistance to the states of the former Soviet Union. Specifically, this effort is to procure six (6) x-ray vans for the detection of small to medium sized objects ranging from air-mail parcels to baggage. The vans must be self-propelled, self-contained and self-powered with optional capability of operation from common 220V/50Hz power sources. Requirement is for four vans to be delivered sixty (60) days after contract award and the remaining two (2) optional systems to be delivered sixty (60) days after option exercise.
