This procurement is to be made in accordance with DFARS Subpart 235.70, Research and Development Streamlined Contracting Procedures. Offerors are advised that a conventional solicitation will NOT be issued but that the solicitation will appear in a subsequent edition of the Commerce Business Daily (CBD). The Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) is seeking technical support to complete portions of the DNA Management Information System for use with FY 96 end-of-year and FY 97 actions. This effort is an extension of the development being pursued under DNA contract DNA001-93-C-0163. It will correct critical problems that the Procurement Forms System (PES) is having due to LAN saturation and an aging data base structure by migrating the system to client server hardware and the supporting new databases. This endeavor will automate all aspects of DNA's budgeting, planning, and execution of funds. The current Executive Integration System (EIS) will receive upgrades including full integration of data located in other databases and will allow users to see graphical and text representations of DNA's budget history, current spending, and future plans. All contractor personnel will require a DoD security clearance of SECRET.
