Repairs include electrical upgrade (including transformer, switchgear, auto transfer switch, exit and emergency lighting), fire alarm upgrade, bathroom upgrade, HVAC work, handicapped accessible entrance, windows, gutters, partition walls, and other related work. This solicitation is unrestricted. The SIC codes are 8711 and 8712. Construction ECC is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Significant Evaluation Factors (in order of importance) 1. Specialized experience necessary for satisfactory performance of required services which would include multi- discipline experience for structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and architectural design. 2. Professional qualifications of the staff to be assigned for this contract (including those of any consultants). 3. Capacity of the assigned team to accomplish the work within the required time constraints. 4. Past performance with quality of work and compliance with performance schedules (emphasis on D.O.D. work). 5. Location of the firm in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided that there is an appropriate number of qualified firms therein for consideration. 6. List the small or disadvantaged or woman- owned business firms used as primary consultants or as subconsultants. 7. Volume of work previously awarded to the firm by the Department of Defense. Type of contract: firm- fixed price. Estimated start date May, 1996. Estimated completion date June, 1996.
