The maintenance will be required on a monthly basis through 30 Sep 96. The anticipated RFQ release date is 12 Feb 96 with quotations expected to be due on 16 Feb 96. Vendor quotations in response to this RFQ must be received in hard copy. Vendors will be able to dial into the electronic ITABBS, and download the RFQ, check the status of the RFQ, receive amendments and other RFQ related correspondence. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. Information from the electronic bulletin board system will either be in ASCII or Microsoft Word for Windows 6.0 format. RFQs are usually a compressed (PKZIP) MS Word file requiring you to have compatible software to extract the file. The ITABBS can be accessed by any FIP vendor through standard hardware and software. To access ITABBS, the necessary communications parameters are 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, with modem speeds of 1.2 - 14.4 KBPS. ITABBS requirements will remain posted until the deadline has passed for submission of vendor proposals.
