The State of Utah invites interested contractors to submit Technical Offers for the Sharon Steel/Midvale Tailings OU2 (Phase 5) and Midvale Slag/Winchester Estates OU1 EPA Superfund remediation project located in Midvale, Salt Lake County, Utah. This solicitation is Step One of a two-step bid process. In Step One, Technical Offers will be evaluated to determine a pool of qualified contractors. Only contractors whose Technical Offers are deemed acceptable will be eligible to submit a priced bid in Step Two of the bid process. This remediation project requires selective site clearing, removal and disposal of property improvements, removal of contaminated soil, refilling of excavated areas with clean soil, landscaping, and the restoration and/or replacement of property improvements. The site covers approx. 66 acres of land which is divided into approx. 164 residential and commercial properties.
