The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a
requirement for administrative support services for implementing and
administering the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award as set forth
in Public Law 100-107, The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality
Improvement Act of 1987. The services required to assist NIST will
include necessary personnel, material, equipment, and facilities as
deemed appropriate to select and train a prestigious Board of
Examiners, solicit award applications, examine award applications, and
present the award(s) at a suitable ceremony. Overall work will be
divided into tasks and deliverables specified for each task. In
accordance with Public Law 100-107, Sec. 16(d)(2)(A), in order to
qualify for a contractual agreement to carry out the requirements,
organizations must be broad-based NONPROFIT entities which are leaders
in the field of quality management and which have a history of service
to society--1 job--FOB Destination, Gaithersburg, MD--Period of
Performance: 18 months which corresponds with an award cycle, and
options for two additional 18 month periods--All qualified NONPROFIT
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the
