The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a single award to a responsible offeror for the provision of Managed Care Services at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) in Beaumont, Texas. Services to be provided will encompass providing all levels of medical care to federal prisoners, to include on-site operation of medical facilities at the FCC and inpatient/outpatient/emergency treatment in community-based hospitals and clinics located within a 100-mile radius of the FCC. The proposed contract will be a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements type and will include a base period not to exceed 12 months with four 12-month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. Price proposals shall be based on a per-capita rate with the following estimated quantities: Base Period -- 339,415 mandays; Option Period 1 -- 1,061,146 mandays; Option Period 2 -- 1,560,091 mandays; Option Period 3 -- 1,663,104; Option Period 4 -- 1,658,560 mandays.
