The boat will principally be used on the Mississippi River between Helena, Arkansas, (Mile 660 AHP) and Southwest Pass (Mile 0 AHP) in connection with tending of work units. The boat may also be used for channel patrol, light towing and contract work on the above designated section of the MS River, and for towing, snagging, and tending work units on the Yazoo River from the mouth of the Yazoo Diversion Canal to Greenwood, Mississippi, and on the Old, Red, Black, and Ouachita Rivers from the MS River to Camden, AR, and on the White and AR Rivers from the mouth of the White to Little Rock, AR, as may be designated by the Contracting Officer. If approval is granted, four option years may be included in the resulting solicitation. However, there is no guarantee that the options will be exercised. There is no charge for specifications.
