12 -- 1.75 WATT LINEAR DRIVE COOLER DUE 030896. Contact Point, Jim Shaffer, 703/704-1319. The Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate, Ft. Belvoir, VA is conducting a world wide market survey of vendors who shall provide the U.S. Army with 1.75 Watt Linear Drive Coolers that meet the requirements of the development specification B2-A3154169A. The cooler must be a non-developmental item and must mate with the Standard Advanced Dewar Assembly (SADA I). Vendors must have a broad experience in the field of linear drive cryogenic coolers as well as adequate fabrication and test facilities to warrant pre-production testing and limited procurement of 1.75 Watt Linear Coolers. For consideration, each of the above elements must be individually addressed by all respondents. Data to include prior testing of the 1.75 Watt Linear cooler must be furnished to support responsiveness to the non-developmental effort.
