Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Headquarters, located at 1801
L Street, N.W., Washington, DC, has a requirement for lodging and
conference room facilities within ten miles of Dulles Airport, located
in Chantilly, Virginia. Approximately seventy sleeping rooms are
required from June 9, 1996 to June 14, 1996. At least two of the rooms
will be wheelchair accessible. Two complimentary sleeping rooms will
be provided. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided to all
overnight guests. Non-overnight participants will be provided lunch and
dinner (approximately 10 to 15 people). Alternative meals will be
available due to dietary needs. During breaks light refreshments will
be served. Eight wheelchair accessible conference rooms are required.
One for at least 70, one for a least 35, four for at least 10 and two
for at least 20 participants. All the meeting rooms will have three
moveable tables, six moveable chairs, a podium, flipchart easel
flipchart pads and classroom style sheeting for participants. There
small rooms are needed for reviewing video tapes. Storage space is
necessary for instructional material, and equipment during the
conference. EEOC will at its option bring its own audiovisual equipment
and connect it to the facilities audiovisual/public address system as
necessary. The facility may provide for each meeting room a
complimentary podium, tripod for flip charts and a tray large enough
for visual aids. the facility should provide moveable tables and
chairs, enough seating for the conference rooms, signs and floor plans.
Transportation to the facility, including transportation for disabled
individuals, should be provided by the facility to and from Dulles
Airport. The anticipated due date for receipt of proposals is February
28, 1996 or 15 days after issuance of the RFP. All responsive and
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the
EEOC. The conference site will meet all American with Disabilities Act
Requirements. Requests for the RFP must be submitted in writing to the
