The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement to provide Level of Effort engineering support for the 5''/54 Caliber MK 6 Ammunition Hoist multi-year production contract. Solicitation N00024-96-R-5224 will be issued only to McNally Industries, Inc. because they are the only source which currently manufactures the MK 6 Ammunition Hoist and they have the requisite knowledge and expertise to meet the requirements, which will be related to the MK 6 Ammunition Hoist production contract.
