The work includes removal of existing HVAC and replacement with a new HVAC system and incidental related work including concrete work, thermal and moisture protection, finishes, mechanical and electrical. The work includes the removal and replacement of a 130 MBH (1000 BTUs/hr) boiler, 1 17-ton multi-zone air handler, a 1-1/2 horsepower return air fan and a 1/4 hp exhaust fan. Ductwork modifications are limited to approximately 2,000 lbs. The contract will be awarded to the Lowest Cost, Technically Acceptable (LCTA) bidder. The estimated cost has a statutory limitation of $100K. Do not call for additional technical information. The only site visit is scheduled for 1 March 1996 at 10:00 am at Building 504. No appointment necessary. Plans and specifications will become available on or about 21 February 1996.
