Request in writing to Attn: S14A/S14B, Contracting Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD), 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The NSWCDD intends to procure software maintenance support services on a sole source basis with Oracle Corporation, 500 Oracle Parkway, MS 659804, Redwood Shores, CA 94065. Software maintenance support services includes the following: (1) telephonic technical support and assistance betweeen the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM local Dahlgren, VA time excluding weekends and Federal Government holidays: (2) software maintenance releases which correct known software defects on CD-ROM. Maintenance releases shall also include documentation updates as appropriate: (3) provide software updates and revisions including instructions for installation and access to documentation. Successor products shall be provided and maintained for those products which shall no longer be supported: (4) documentation updates shall be supplied, when appropriate, with software maintenance releases and updates. Sole source is based upon Oracle's unique capability and resources to perform the required software support due to proprietary rights held by Oracle Corporation.
