In support of the Information Sciences and Technology Branch, NASA/GSFC intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Quorum Communication Incorporated of Irvine, TX for a NOAA polar orbiting satellite acquisition and ingest system. Quorum Communication Incorporatated has been identified as the only company that can provide a system this is (1) compatible with an IVAS array processor and the MacTac decommutator; (2) be capable of interfacing via DCL commands to a VMS/VAX system for pass scheduling and image product generation; and (3) conforms to System 600 IIS formats. The ingest software must be modular to conform with TK/TCL Graphical User Interface (GUI) programming. Request for Quotation (RFQ5-68115/985) will be issued as the vehicle to obtain this item.
