with DFARS Subpart 235.70, Research and Development Streamlined
Contracting Procedures. Offerors are advised that a conventional
solicitation will NOT be issued but that the solicitation will appear
in a subsequent edition of the Commerce Business Daily (CBD). The
Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) develops technology for nuclear weapons
effects simulators. One of the powerflow technologies being developed
utilizes plasma opening switches. DNA is seeking support to develop
diagnostics capable of measuring current flow and density in these
switches. Offerors must provide address information to the contract
negotiator in order to be included on the mailing list in case any
supplemental package and/or amendments are issued to the solicitation
which will appear in a subsequent edition of the Commerce Business
Daily. This procurement is 100 per cent set-aside for small business,
