The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to issue a modification against Contract N68936-94-C-0326 with the University of Kansas Center for Research, Inc. of Lawrence, KS to procure on an other than full and open competition basis additional effort to further refine the Naval Air Weapons Station Geothermal Program Office's integrated geological and geophysical model of the Indian Wells Valley Region. The University of Kansas is the incumbent contractor and deemed the only source with the complete technical knowledge, experience and data required for the refinement of this multi-element, geographic information system-based model. Firms believing they can provide the above effort at a lower cost under the same terms and conditions as the University of Kansas should submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 15 days from the date of publication of this synopsis, clearly showing their ability to provide the required effort.
