Maintenance of Government owned and operated airplanes, Cessna 185/206, Piper PA-18 and light twins in Anchorage, Alaska. On September 29, 1995, Solicitation No. 8195-14 was issued soliciting bids for maintenance of Government owned and operated aircraft. That Solicitation was issued in conjunction with an Office of Management and Budget, Circular A-76 Study, to compare the cost of continued in-house (Government) performance with that of private industry. No bids were received as a result of the solicitation. As a result, the Government intends to continue performance of the required aircraft maintenance services using Government personnel. This represents notification in accordance with Circular A-76, of the results of the study as well as an opportunity for public comment. The period of comment is thirty calendar days from publication of this notice.
