OPDS provide medeum sized tankers with equipment to install a pipeline and pump a single product up to 4 statue miles to a beach termination unit ashore or two products simutaneously for up to 2 statue miles for shore. INSTRUCTORS: Must have completed civilian or military instructor training course. Must have a least three years of classroom and hands-on instructor experience comparable to the Navy Instructor with a 9502 Instructor's NEC. Must have a least 5 years of technical experience in the installation, operation, maintenance and retrieval of the OPDS equipment/system. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or comparable experience is required. Working knowledge of the Task Based Curriculum. SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS (SME):Must have at least 5 years of technical experience in the installation, operation, maintenance and retrieval of the OPDS equipment/ system. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or comparable experience is required. PUBLICATION SPECIALIST:Must have at least 3 years experience writing technical manuals similar to the OPDS technical manuals.
