This project is for the purposes of providing facilities in the New
York City area for Coast Guard Units. Contractor shall provide all
labor, material, equipment, transportation, mobilization and
demobilization required to renovatean existing Administration Building
to provide office facilities, and the Boathouse to provide male/female
wetroom facilities, and construct a new Maintenance Building at Sandy
Hook. The work includes building demolition, hazardous materials
abatement,earthwork, site utilities, site lighting, paving,
landscaping, concrete, steel and masonry building construction,
roofing, interior finishes, floor coverings, plumbing, HVAC and fire
suppression systems, and power, fire alarm, communications and
datasystems. Estimated price range is $1,500,000 - $3,000,000. --
Duration of contract period is approximately 14 months. -- Plans and

20 Feb 1996 and must be ordered in writing.There is a nonrefundable

short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding AssistanceProgram
enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on
the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available
under the DOT Short Term LendingProgram (STLP) at prime interest rates
to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit
