Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: Schedule A: King Salmon AFS, Alaska: Upgrade the following Underground Fuel Storage Tanks and the associated pipelines so that they are in compliance with 18 AAC 78 requirements. 1. Remove and replace an oil water separator and a 500 gallon waste oil storage tank with a direct buried, double walled, coalescing, oil- water separator with integral oil storage. 2. Upgrade three existing double walled UST's at four different sites with the following equipment: leak detection systems, level monitoring systems, cathodic protection systems and spill containment and overfill prevention equipment. 3. Close in place a 1,000 gallon UST and remove an existing oil-water separator. Replace both items with a single oil-water separator with integral oil storage. Schedule B: Eareckson AFS, Alaska: Remove three 20,000 gallon and one 40,000 gallon Underground Fuel Storage Tanks and the associated pipelines at the Power Plant. Replace with two 125 kilo-liter, skid mounted, self-diked aboveground storage tanks on a 235 SM concrete pad. The installation shall include but not be limited to new piping, pumps, lighting, electrical, leak and level detection systems. (Note: Soil remediation will not be included) Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services. Range: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000--FFP--270 days completion time--Plans & spec fee: $39.00--SIC Code 1629--all responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency.
