Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF A COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY AT BANGOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ANG), BANGOR, MAINE SOL DAHA17-96-B-0001. Due 040296. Furnish all materials, equipment and labor associated with the construction of a Communications Facility located at Bangor International Airport, Bangor Maine for the Maine Air National Guard. Work consists of construction of a 8,000 sf building with reinforced concrete floor slab and foundation; structural steel frame; steel trusses on steel columns; elastomeric sheet roofing system over steel deck on open web steel joists; exterior walls are prefinished metal panels and masonry veneer; interior walls of CMU, gypsum wall board and plaster ceilings, acoustical treatment; floors of vinyl tile, ceramic tile, carpet, concrete with hardener; combination single interlock preaction, air supervised, dry pipe sprinkler system and wet pipe sprinkler system; radio frequency (RF) shielded enclosure; compressed air system; 225 KVA pad mounted transformer, lighting systems, electrical/voice/data distribution and controls to include cable trays and underfloor ducts, equipment ground system; oil fired heating system, chilled water system, air handling and distribution system; security system; fire alarm system; bituminous concrete parking lot and access road; construct water and sewer service; construct foundations for 2 (two) antennae; provide site grading and drainage; certain equipment will be furnished by the government. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Plans, specifications and bidding documents will be available on or about February 26, 1996. Cost of solicitation materials is $75.00. A site visit will be held on March 12, 1996 at 10:00 am local time, arrangements should be made at least 24 hours in advance by contacting Rik Phillips at 207-626-4558. Bid opening date and time is scheduled for April 02, 1996 at 1:00 pm local time. Project completion date is 400 days after issuance of a Notice to Proceed.
