The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a Contractor to provide all the labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The principal components of this project/work include the following: a) Disc pond (pond is approximately 5.3 acres); b) Close three observation wells; c) Remove concrete pump vault and splash slab, backfill excavation, and compact; d) Repair an 8 foot section of berm by completely removing soil, then backfilling and compacting to original elevations; e) Compact pond areas that require fill for embankments; f) Cut material and use to construct embankments; g) Cut berms and use as topsoil over the newly constructed embarkments; h) Disc topsoil, seed pond and areas embankments were removed. This project is located near Custer County, Montana. The estimated order of magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The soliciation will be issued on double-sided, high-density DOS-formatted 3.5-inch floppy diskettes. The IFB and specifications are formatted using WordPerfect 5.1. The solicitation may be obtained in one of the following ways: FREE OF CHARGE: Solicitation/specifications on diskette without drawings; $10.00 NONREFUNDABLE FEE: Solicitation/specifications on diskette with drawings on hardcopy; or $20.00 NONREFUNDABLE FEE: Solicitation/specifications, drawings on hardcopy. All work for all of the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) must be completed within 60 calendar days after the Agency issuance of the ''Notice to Proceed''. This solicitation will be issued on or about Feb. 16, 1996. The projected bid opening date is on or about Mar. 19, 1996.
