The work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 60,000 cubic yards of material to provide a project depth of minus 15 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) plus 1 foot of allowable overdepth. Disosal of silt material will be at the Government furnished open water disposal area near the end of Sandholt Pier (SF-12) or at an alternative contractor furnished land disposal area. Disposal of sand material will be by nourishment of the beach north of Sandholt Pier. Requests for Plans and Specifications shall be in writing to be received not-later-than 8 March 1996, cost if $6.00 a set.
