Z -- FACILITIES RENOVATION, CONSTRUCTION POC Contracting Officer, Patrick Folts, FAX 011-49-8024-903350 The International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB) has an immediate requirement to repair the existing paved road surrounding the Transmitter Plant building at its Voice of America's (VOA) Munich Relay Station in Germany. Work involves the removal and disposal of all existing asphalt and paving stones construction material in the effected area; leveling and sloping; compacting; prime coating and/or refurbishing base coarse material; and reinstalling paving stones to meet specifications. German DIN construction codes for materials and construction practices shall be strictly adhered to. An on-site pre-proposal meeting is mandatory for all prospective offerors to thoroughly acquaint offerors with the conditions under which the work must be performed. The date for the pre-proposal meeting will be cited in the RFP. The RFP is planned to be issued by February 1996, with proposals due 30 calendar days thereafter. An in-country contract award will be made in Germany and payments will be made in local currency. The contract performance period is estimated to be 30 days. The estimated construction cost range is under $100,000. If a copy of the solicitation is desired, submit a written request to the Contracting Officer stated above accompanied by a non-refundable payment in the amount of $25.00 (USD) made out to the International Broadcasting Bureau.
