Pre-qualifications for vendors to supply computer equipment to Russia are sought by the organization Direct Line for the USAID Saratov Gateway Project. The Saratov Gateway Project invites applications form interested vendors for prequalification to supply computers to Russia. Commodities to be procured will include, but are not limited to computer equipment such as: UNIX file servers; work stations; printers (laser); UNIX ware; routers; modems; server cards/hubs/etc.; multiplexor. Qualified vendors shall possess the ability to supply computer equipment to the project in Russia, provide in-country parts and service, export warranty and will fully complete a prequalification questionnaire. The applications presently being invited will in no way obligate Direct Line. A ``short list'' of vendors will be chosen from the prequalification questionnaire. For award of the procurement, Direct Line will, invite quotations from the ``short listed'' vendors for the supply of computer equipment. All invitations are subject to USAID approval.
