Deliver, set up, pick up, clean, store and repair Durable Medical Equipment (DME), for home patients, serviced by the VA Outpatient Clinic, Columbus, Ohio. Contractor will also give detailed instructions and training to VA beneficiaries on the use of DME and perform routine maintenance as required by the manufacturer of the equipment. Contractor will be on call 24 hours a day for emergency repairs to DME, and must be able to remedy emergency situations within 24 hours of call. Contractor will furnish approximately 1,500 sq. feet of storage space at their facility devoted entirely to the storage and repair cleaning of VA owned property. Contractor must comply with all relative regulations regarding DME set forth by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Organizations. Due to our requirements, it is necessary to restrict this procurement to eligible, qualified contractors within the State of Ohio only. Solicitation will be available on 1/26/96.
