SOL 96-48(N) DUE 041096 POC Contact Juanita Elder at (404)842-6553 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates awarding a contract for the timely requisition of freshly drawn human whole blood, blood products, and other bodily fluids for reference diagnostics and research use. The obtaining of blood and blood products shall require screening for evidence of possible infection by specific testing. The contractor shall be required to assure donor confidentiality and shall make available adequate counseling in the event any donor specimens test positive for specific transmittable infections. This requirement shall be for a period of one year with four one-year option renewal periods. Requests for solicitation must cite RFP number 95-48(N). No telephone requests - only written requests directly from the requestor will be acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. (0032)
